Spirit Guide
Red Tape Riot, the Hard Rock band out of St. Louis, delivers a brand new, heavy-hitting sound.
Comprised of Michael Meyer (Vocals), Phil Billingham (Bass/Vocals), Shawn McMullen (Lead Guitar), Jim Casagrand (Rhythm Guitar), and Ed Spinaio (Drums), the rock outlaws have created a gritty soundscape with thought-provoking lyrics, heavy driving riffs, intense gnarly leads, aggressive punchy beats and tight pocketed grooves.
Promoting their upcoming release, the band will debut its first single, “The Rift” on December 1, 2023. The single is set to be released along with an official music video; shot and directed by J.T. Ibanez (P.O.D., Through Fire, Sevendust, Atreyu, Smile Empty Soul, Morose, Shamans Harvest, Cavo, Story of the Year).
Moving into 2024, the band will continue to release singles from their upcoming EP, “The Great Divide”. The 4-song project delivers a gritty, heavy-hitting sound and demonstrates the band’s signature angst with tone-setting and thought-provoking subjects. The rock renegades will hit the stage to promote their new music throughout 2024 while they get back into the studio to record their follow-up record.
No strangers to the stage, each member of the group has plenty of live-show experience from past projects. Collectively, they have played festivals and concert venues alongside artists such as Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Drowning Pool, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Devil Wears Prada, The Used, Hinder, Alter Bridge, Atreyu, Memphis May Fire, Sevendust, Sick Puppies, Whitechapel, You Me At Six, Bad Wolves/Tommy Vext, Upon A Burning Body, 10 Years, Dope, Thrice, Hed PE, Alien Ant Farm, Red Fang, Unearth, BrokenRail, Powerman 5000, Zwan/Billy Corgan, Cold, Smile Empty Soul, Everyone Dies In Utah, Kill Hannah, Fire From The Gods, Orgy, Kyng, Tear Out The Heart, Discrepancies, The F*ck Off And Dies, Primer 55, Holy White Hounds, Gravity Kills, Trapt, The Pour, and more.
